CSSA Spring Trip to Jasper on May 21, 22, and 23.

CSSA will organize a Spring Trip to Jasper from May 21 to 23, 2005.
Activities include sight viewing, canoeing at Jasper Park Lodge, and
hot
spring at Miette Hot Springs.
2 A7 A/ E5 H; f6 \8 `We will go to Jasper by mini-van rented by CSSA and driven by CSSA
Volunteers.
We'll stay there for two nights. Accommodations are arranged by CSSA.

Day One
-        Ride to Jasper by mini-van.(7 people per minivan)
-        Canoeing at Jasper Park Lodge.($35 per canoe per hour and $25 per
half
) O# F/ R% l, s6 h7 U" M3 mhour)(Each canoe can hold 3 people at most.)
) u1 m) [  O, N. O$ c-        Hot spring in Jasper for the evening.(Usually hot spring costs about

person. So it's not that expensive. And after knowing how many people
will go,
I can work on a group price for us. So sign up for this activity. If

people go to the hot spring.)

Day Two
-        Sight Viewing in Japer: We'll go Maligne Lake first thing in the

before, I strongly recommend you to do so.

-        Sight-viewing in Jasper continues.
-        Ride home in the early afternoon since we need to return the rented

time.

Things to Bring:
-        Travel needs.
-        Swim suit if you want to do Hot Spring.
" n6 G" v8 P: I  {4 \1 Q" ?: ^; ~-       Sun glasses and sun screen to protect your eyes and skin.
: e2 f- h) Z9 K" `6 E1 D* |  r* M3 i-       Camera. It's beautiful in the mountain in the spring.
-       Bring some warm clothes since it's still cool in the mountain

$ {0 \3 P* a1 [3 O& `) _- tlate May. And we also will go to the Columbia Ice Field so warm clothes
and
shoes are definitely needed.
-       Wear comfort shoes cause we'll do lots of walking and of course
drving.(But you won't need to worry about the driving).
/ e' N: `/ T% j' V  Q$ e& f-       We won't take care of the food for you, but we'll stop at
places where
2 s! d) s* ]" B* M: I" q5 X. Sthere are food at lunch or dinner hour, so you could have something to
eat.
1 G+ {! H8 C" MFeel free to bring your own food. (Like instant noodles.) (There is an

/ ^3 X1 W; ^$ f2 Z( ~Jasper, so you could always buy food there if you need.)

Cost: $160, this price includes your share of car rentals, gas,
two-night
accommodation in jasper, and national park entrance tickets, and it

the hot-spring, the canoeing, and the maligne Boat Cruises).
Hot Spring ticket was about $6 in total according to last year's price.
Canoeing is $35 per canoe per hour, $25 per half an hour.
