Housing Program Worker

' k3 d% F! I: C6 w7 nKey Responsibilities:
, l: v! ~+ a& Q3 e To plan, organize and implement residential and housing support programs for adults and families who access the YMCA’s Transitional Housing Program.
" `  T2 f& R2 p To assist residents to register for on-site housing and support programs
 To help promote the program in the community.
 To provide some evening and weekend program supports.
 To supervise volunteers assigned to the program.
/ a% b( f. E1 R3 ~ To document assigned activities and prepare reports as necessary.
( m/ H) v9 y4 R1 h& u) B" E2 t To operate within the approved budget and follow all YMCA Policies and Procedures.
. Y/ [8 s  _$ w To contribute as a member of our staff team in the operation of the Transitional Housing Program.

1 k) Q2 m$ l6 o0 y' WQualifications:  (Applicants must meet all qualifications to apply)
$ l& {, ^9 i( d# l! X4 t; }# x( ~ 2 years education as a post secondary student in Human Services or Social Work
 Experience in human services, social housing and/or work with high needs populations.
 Well developed communication and interpersonal skills.
 Current CPR and First Aid certifications
! v4 b. l% T- A5 t  z- P Completed, current & cleared Child Welfare Check & Police Security Clearance
