Job Description
Summer Children’s Fitness Program Co-ordinator
2 ]1 S5 O4 q% r, s' TResponsibilities:
* I/ s3 c9 g7 N5 p- W$ V- Organize focus group(s)
- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
- Recruit children for summer program
- Provide orientation for parents
! G$ Y, ^% q8 Z: j- Find sponsors to enhance program
- Supervise volunteer(s)
- Prepare final report for funding agency

/ y6 A/ ^6 e4 L% \+ ]Qualifications:

# T; a5 ?- f/ z% @: h( u- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
- communication skills
- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
/ P) f6 J9 B+ d# Q4 k- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
- good computer skills
- leadership abilities
- ability to work independently with minimal supervision

- must undergo security and child welfare check at own expense
