- community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to * g, C. g# M+ ?1 ]
provide services for Chinese community+ D& _/ J1 g O; K# P' L( L; d
- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population ; p- ]: ]0 o' R, ?
access to mainstream services
% l) i; y* S) I. T1 A- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of 8 ^2 h# i" J6 ~) T
social services" }8 s7 ^$ Y- ]. Z) I; y5 H- q
- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies
# u5 i4 F. T, P; x- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members
P- ~7 O. \+ b- update ASSIST website
6 @! i& q! j0 u2 a- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre3 {' K8 E, Q" w
- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services1 w1 ~0 L1 O/ n6 X1 Z8 i( ^" V; O
- assist with Centre’s other activities or programs as prescribed from time to time

Qualifications% _/ g5 ^/ @/ _/ h
- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of
8 [3 D" N L. p% s experience and education 4 T3 _1 y9 n- g3 R% C$ b
- good oral and written Chinese and English skills0 `) V" g8 V8 q( r: u- b
- experience in community work and immigrant services& P; C _; G% ^$ Y
- experience in website update/design, S8 f7 q* L( l# R, |4 N/ S
- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset5 e3 o2 G( S1 P6 P1 \6 b
