    * Conducts isotopic analysis of geological samples using Thermal Ionization Mass Spectrometry, including performing isotopic analysis of standard samples and control solutions to verify machine performance specifications
1 a! V9 y# ]) M1 c9 x4 }( E    * Loads purified samples to filaments for analysis
. Z1 Y/ ]$ a# r# i5 `    * Performs data entry and ensures quality control and quality assurance
    * Coordinates instrument analysis schedules for Research Associates, Post Doctoral Fellows and Graduate Students
    * Provides general technical support and routine husbandry for the Mass Spectrometry Laboratory, including preparing filaments (welding and out gassing) for analysis for use by self and others; cleaning instrument components and conducting minor repairs/replacement of components; checking glassware and pipettes; orders consumables and supplies
    * Delivers completed data to users; maintains instrument and safety logs

you mean the pay is cheaper, but i think there are lots people can do and this kind of job is worth this price. It is not senior analysist

) s. G+ \" `" P, n本來 GC-MS 的， 聼說在 GM 裝焊擡推都有 us$76/hr,現在改行了。

4 x5 R7 o# Y3 b. f好了。言歸正傳，ua 給的工資，往往只得市場的 6至7成。

    i think you misunderstood the meaning of GC-MS. It is not GM, it's about chemstry analysis.oh, my god!

6 ~1 `3 [( I' r* w2 g5 ?3 e' _  KSamples were first separated into components by GC before sending to MS for identification.
- Q% \! k/ M* ]4 A$ mwage range from $42000 to $80000 /year.

4 \! L4 e& E) h; A' Q  Zti-MS stands for mass spectrometer with thermal ionization source.
