Responsibilities:
1 t, L/ y/ ?: l+ H/ j0 O- Organize focus group(s)
8 Z; d$ R4 t& @6 x5 x1 v. x% x- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
- Recruit children for summer program
9 [2 n; f. F* m$ N( h- Provide orientation for parents
- Find sponsors to enhance program
* _1 O7 p5 L( C6 E- Supervise volunteer(s)
. a) `5 Q- u& p* k, k' M" s- Prepare final report for funding agency

6 e6 u/ }. i; \$ U7 H; x
4 n  d  O2 X! V5 _/ z- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
- q% u8 Q! N/ l: S5 T* `1 A- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
! ]8 R) N" b. h2 E$ O9 M- communication skills
5 B: x) V& L2 m- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
( F! C  d* A# p  \& N5 w' C- good computer skills
- leadership abilities
; E$ }6 |5 a9 N4 h- ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Salary

' e$ a, E) {; @- $10.50/hr for 30 hours/week, June 1 to August 31, 2005
