- z r# ~% {, uAs a Business Analyst, you will analyze business requirements, conduct impact analyses, and perform design, development, support and documentation activities in a dynamic and multi-application environment. Working under a Team Lead, you will help to develop a long term plan to replace our client's legacy applications.
, f2 b6 _- K& ~0 j1 f) CAs part of this endeavour, you will be responsible for performing the following type of activities:/ Q3 z' g4 @) K
Convert business requirements into design specifications and prepare specifications for user sign-off.
$ c0 N; u: z1 P* A3 m% qCreate process and data models to visually represent requirements information. / I* K, W e( H6 S' Y& T8 e
Perform system testing with internal and external clients. Provide support during various phases of testing. - n- F+ h; _- ^& l( i" A4 S1 [
Assist with the resolution of code deficiencies found during the assembly test and system test phase.
9 q/ }6 N+ S& W: R: cSupport, maintain and upgrade application after it moves into production.
# `/ X8 Z r! i; N+ r2 ZAnalyze current technical and business objectives, plans, processes, information flows, and systems. 3 k2 U- l: U8 M! b
Assist in the identification, assessment and resolution of application problems and recommend modifications.
1 Z) u" ~9 s" G: O1 d( rSummarize and present key findings with recommendations for improvement. 3 J# h @$ }( [9 w
Responsible for working with Project manager to set and review overall quality of deliverables.
8 @/ I: {' h: ~9 b8 }! z Minimum of 2 years of experience in application development, experience with legacy applications would be an asset
" N5 r |) ]# p4 G0 e! N+ v8 o• A university degree in Computer Science, Commerce (MIS), or similar discipline is preferred, but an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered., O& c1 u' v9 q7 d3 t
• Experience with Web Applications, VB.net, C# and/or .NET technologies an asset.
4 @* A- G( u( A6 q6 B• Understanding of Object Oriented design principles and the .Net Framework.
' M0 v0 q9 D: X$ O( M; ]: X• Exceptional consultation skills are critical, with the ability to convey technical ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences and contribute within a team environment.

Superior analytical and problem-solving skills are a must.
