Position Abstract: responsible for providing administrative support to the Executive Director and Board of Directors and organizes the Re-Enactments. The Program Coordinator oversees matters related to site maintenance, board, donor and volunteer databases, and administrative duties related to fund-development activities and is an integral part of the Re-enactment Program.5 N* }( K+ r2 k/ _) \% e* z
5 B8 @& x( D, o7 |6 IKey Tasks: establishing/maintaining relationships with volunteers, police and media; administers all board activities, including Board meetings, AGM, committee meetings, ensures up-to-date policy manuals; manages accounts receivables/payables, payroll & prepares monthly financial statements (knowledge of Simply Accounting an asset).' n( I; U, y% h0 n" s9 I/ d: z, A
: |. @" u: }) H& \+ assists with Special Events/fund development activities; coordinates the set-up of shoots including preparation of props, permission to use sites, acquiring needed vehicle, manages volunteer actors; liaises with schools, businesses and community organizations.' h0 B/ t! Essential Qualifications: exceptional organizational/time management skills and the ability to multi-task; must possess excellent verbal/written communication skills; a valid Driver's License & access to a vehicle; proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Simply Accounting and @Ease experience an asset; experience in the non-profit sector preferred.
