The Canadian Accreditation Council of Human Services is a non-profit company dedicated to a peer review accreditation process based on best practice standards, ensuring organizations focus on service excellence.

We are seeking a very skilled individual who is well connected to Aboriginal communities, knowledgeable about standards and accreditation processes, self motivated and able to work independently.  

2 e* f7 V; `( B$ ^% E& JDuties:
•        Provide administrative support to Organizations preparing for accreditations and to Peer Review Teams during the process.
; @, C. o6 j3 r# u  \•        Develop and deliver workshops/training sessions to assist organizations to develop or strengthen their capacity to provide excellent programming.
& @# Q0 X" d1 ]; a8 G$ G3 m•        Facilitate peer review, team leader training and other related workshops.
- _7 U" K  }$ ]•        Assist in the development and revision of standards, manuals, and tools used within the accreditation process.

Requirements:
•        Able to work with people from diverse background and interests towards consensus.
•        Understanding of adult learning, workshop development and group facilitation.
•        Degree in the area of human services;
0 r% I4 \3 e. L. b6 ]•        Able to travel extensively ;
- O) K6 z5 f2 W1 f% ~•        Able to work in a team as well as independently;
•        Excellent written and oral communication skills;
•        Experience working in non-governmental agencies and the Aboriginal community;
•        Current CYIM, Criminal Record Check, Driver’s Abstract and access to a vehicle.
