The Canadian Accreditation Council of Human Services is a non-profit company dedicated to a peer review accreditation process based on best practice standards, ensuring organizations focus on service excellence.

We are seeking a very skilled individual who is well connected to Aboriginal communities, knowledgeable about standards and accreditation processes, self motivated and able to work independently.  

( h3 F% [1 Q8 S( _3 a( JDuties:
•        Provide administrative support to Organizations preparing for accreditations and to Peer Review Teams during the process.
6 f- u9 }* I8 X" X+ ~6 l•        Develop and deliver workshops/training sessions to assist organizations to develop or strengthen their capacity to provide excellent programming.
•        Facilitate peer review, team leader training and other related workshops.
6 w5 t: l/ z  x! ^. n1 U•        Assist in the development and revision of standards, manuals, and tools used within the accreditation process.

% W3 D1 g" c, [' sRequirements:
•        Able to work with people from diverse background and interests towards consensus.
•        Understanding of adult learning, workshop development and group facilitation.
$ D! Q6 p. B! v•        Degree in the area of human services;
( Q4 t1 V& a& [) L9 _! B7 F5 s* p" k•        Able to travel extensively ;
•        Able to work in a team as well as independently;
7 G3 S6 w9 S' ^  e•        Excellent written and oral communication skills;
•        Experience working in non-governmental agencies and the Aboriginal community;
+ R* W" J, z) h/ j( P2 s•        Current CYIM, Criminal Record Check, Driver’s Abstract and access to a vehicle.
