The Canadian Accreditation Council of Human Services is a non-profit company dedicated to a peer review accreditation process based on best practice standards, ensuring organizations focus on service excellence.

We are seeking a very skilled individual who is well connected to Aboriginal communities, knowledgeable about standards and accreditation processes, self motivated and able to work independently.  
( Z+ P% }% g8 v' ^& S. O& D
Duties:
•        Provide administrative support to Organizations preparing for accreditations and to Peer Review Teams during the process.
•        Develop and deliver workshops/training sessions to assist organizations to develop or strengthen their capacity to provide excellent programming.
( M6 d% h  Y: ]- w( n1 Z•        Facilitate peer review, team leader training and other related workshops.
•        Assist in the development and revision of standards, manuals, and tools used within the accreditation process.

! \: k( o6 S! y( d5 xRequirements:
•        Able to work with people from diverse background and interests towards consensus.
0 E+ O" `% F  s$ K9 }' y, j( E! m•        Understanding of adult learning, workshop development and group facilitation.
•        Degree in the area of human services;
•        Able to travel extensively ;
•        Able to work in a team as well as independently;
•        Excellent written and oral communication skills;
•        Experience working in non-governmental agencies and the Aboriginal community;
, i: p3 r2 i/ _. i" I3 }•        Current CYIM, Criminal Record Check, Driver’s Abstract and access to a vehicle.
