Job Description – Responsibilities
. j8 \' |4 N: a•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
2 `  u, N) t- N8 t: F8 A•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
6 w6 ]) V3 l5 z& e•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
2 \. \2 |& g" u4 s( [; Z; H3 [•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
% |- l3 v3 c. ^•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
" f- N' y. U" z% k- w* |•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

Qualifications
•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
' e: A$ d* R* N•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
