Position: Youth Services Manager
* F6 P; C9 i% `& A" N1 qFull time position (35 hours each week)

" ], l4 [# U3 D2 B" g1 |5 b3 }Job Description – Responsibilities
•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
8 {3 G0 w; b5 a•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
* a1 ?: `8 J/ x( @: ~•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
# P+ ?3 n; H( m) t8 u+ _•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
$ I2 H4 k; _( t5 |8 c•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
3 u; Y( [2 e9 G' K•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
) @# z3 Z0 O4 h8 _. D•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

Qualifications
•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
/ g2 ]: c  W9 ^1 g•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
•        willingness to learn
