9 A( Z5 C& j3 p* {% PPosition: Youth Services Manager
Full time position (35 hours each week)
& i9 f# F" \+ w6 U( o% [+ k2 o
0 M3 o3 I5 _) F+ FJob Description – Responsibilities
7 ?3 l* E! F! o6 d) m& C; y•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
! b" J3 B; z% E$ G5 _$ P( d9 ^•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
$ A9 k) ]$ O/ N+ R" g8 x•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
6 r7 ]! F/ m) U( n% O•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
+ p! M( V1 L2 W: a) r•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
' m# D# i" a) J. P2 G' M0 O•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
) k( U9 l. V  x1 X•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
: T7 N3 G; S2 p' K0 ^6 ~, T•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
1 y0 v$ V0 w" h2 G8 D$ m•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
3 }) n+ I, {0 U& F" |8 |•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

% f5 K1 u1 L* }7 J8 {( ]- EQualifications
•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
! F, F6 G- H* h1 {7 ?8 r: \4 V1 u•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
( Y) G# q: A; k+ f•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
•        willingness to learn
