Position: Youth Services Manager
Full time position (35 hours each week)

1 \7 S, y6 m! NJob Description – Responsibilities
•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
" p5 a3 r: P) j8 w' z, D* ?•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
. v: M7 w- \9 m: j% {  a* {# g4 U•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
; g, F; c& v9 M# U•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
4 W1 o* s; _/ n  q•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
6 W; U( b3 _: C6 Q  O  j5 M6 e•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
! Y3 a3 o, x2 D5 o  Z, d•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
/ F) y& O' k5 N2 \•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
, \8 I# O' c) [+ F: W& d•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
- w6 R4 @% P, \$ j- s5 A, o7 }2 S•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

Qualifications
•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
•        willingness to learn
