Position: Youth Services Manager
8 t3 ?+ n0 C  @8 y/ KFull time position (35 hours each week)

% w* y* O, |5 i* ]6 jJob Description – Responsibilities
, F1 N+ C% Z! m; E•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
4 a( @" X  ~5 v  N•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
3 Y2 M& g! F" {# {5 z! K- V  u•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
9 l" ^& {. f# @. C9 V1 ^•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
: C9 M. i& |$ c$ f7 H; l9 a+ K- G•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
2 i; {, {; O( ^  z- h- V: f- k•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
+ T, V/ L/ x* I1 j+ B$ w3 a•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
9 j/ L  O6 d5 I2 r1 `•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
  Y' O5 h/ i) a* q+ X•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
) k" G) W7 W1 N* |5 E•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

Qualifications
/ T. y" }! j. R) R& H•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
0 c! D* U1 W/ w$ l/ s4 C; \5 L•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
•        willingness to learn
