* _" K$ A; [! X# ~* [Position: Youth Services Manager
Full time position (35 hours each week)

Job Description – Responsibilities
3 D" a. n! A4 J% D4 _•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
* k' {8 w# G5 M•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
/ i' g! j2 X( G  k•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
5 y. S3 o: x! \) ?% q0 ~6 T, t•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
- Y. B* R" r) ?, J# C- b6 r( C•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
1 b7 [! |8 @& f( ], X7 R6 n/ d  b% Y•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
( Q$ L8 [- N7 A5 [& ]/ b8 x* @: Y•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

1 x. r* Q7 F  c, DQualifications
/ R8 {" S: r4 K& r$ a•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
2 r1 X1 }7 w, J& X2 h•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
! ~- J; p; O5 J5 N  \" U6 F•        willingness to learn

•        requires police security check at the expense of employee and child welfare check
