The pain of our loss is beyond anything we could

! F4 Q2 j, `, S" P% B> depth of our loss. That is true. But we know of One( q1 I, b0 G) z3 C N8 P9 b3 a
> who does understand and
* D- j E j" d- o3 z> feel our pain because He lost His son, too. It/ N3 Y( r4 i; U; c
> happened when God gave the
B+ V( v6 B% a: F* S2 k> sinless life of His son ant the cross to redeem
3 ]* r7 I$ t" G> sinful lives and to purchase
2 S; {% b6 S9 W& c> forgiveness for us all. There days later, He raised
% q; q" h b, ]4 N- E' Z. T( f1 D> His son from the dead! \/ T; r0 c! \, z$ o5 x
> and conquered death. It is though this event where
0 w5 x5 Q! U" ^& i/ Y> human history was$ |; s- |# L p- c7 @5 j4 D: ~
> intersected by divine grace and mercy that we have
* J7 O7 e' f; @5 s> hope. This hope, that's. C7 N% _* x. i! F t; _
> what's sustaining us. It's not an idle wish, but a
( F8 t$ u) K+ Y+ D> certainty based on the
$ ]1 O6 B" i3 N* N( X> promise of God. And this hope fills us with eager
7 u4 {7 V5 a, P9 {2 B, G( D: M> anticipation and a longing5 t% O7 N- t0 _) x/ {: A
> for the time when we shall be forever with the Lord.7 a2 U& ], x. q' D
> It is this hope that1 c" F9 y8 H4 Z& H
> will ease the pain of our loss, as the Prince of
