Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant

+ Z/ J0 m' C5 I; U3 z8 d" hMajor Responsibilities:
6 J! u! L$ k. u7 S! D- ^3 t• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.4 R" G. Y X3 s
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
0 E- L' @! Q/ @• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.
+ V8 l. z1 k' }2 Z7 ]! ~1 u• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.
+ G6 J0 @8 r" @* }* h• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
6 ?( X& \8 T/ q7 p• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.5 w( K' I$ K; [- \; G
• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.. t+ e6 K: [ g, {/ Y5 p2 T. {9 d. A
• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.! Y. x5 @2 y0 j% ^* m/ c8 T- ?
• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.
) [; p5 i; e9 Z4 V7 x+ a0 h8 B# `• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.5 |9 m3 R) @5 `: [* H9 [) v. Z
• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
: g- ]: X: B g1 H+ u8 c+ W• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.

• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:
* r0 p) i8 A c( ? N/ H- K• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
" }, g4 }9 ^" b2 a9 p* Z5 E/ k• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
5 ^$ A: X% R7 w• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. 4 X$ x( e0 j# ^% Z4 g
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
4 D$ o& h/ `: ?" [2 P0 S" T3 m• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential# s$ w- ~* R$ W- m, C- j
• Not scared of heights3 j: q! c$ Q9 b% ]
• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other4 h6 ~7 H- t* D5 N
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. 0 x6 A9 {0 A' G5 u' t
• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process.
