Reports to: National Sales Manager- {/ z+ Z7 U3 [+ u6 T5 s

' H$ i. N& i7 Q1 F! SMajor Responsibilities:
# c" }" V" q( b; E• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
+ F) n/ O) p3 Y• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.* `% H* J: `0 N" @6 _: y- Q6 L1 x1 L
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. * h% G2 Z4 Q, Y! k$ C" g
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.- n$ \9 [: z! H6 u. f& W U3 t
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.% _6 c5 S6 }, u' Z z
• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
& c9 K. G. f o5 ?2 z" h6 v• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.$ z5 F; o' `% [' z# \
• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
( a' ?5 K+ A- H" n1 N' ]• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.- b8 x1 f( {+ D+ G% q" z b
• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.8 S/ F2 O1 x o, G
• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
; D8 B8 Z* y, x! M" I• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.- j% K6 B: p. b; n; c6 B
• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.5 c9 y! h$ }' c1 {
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:& {, ~2 X) x5 ?
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
. k3 I1 Y* R& y& S8 r• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. 5 A& }6 y3 L& q) L
• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. & c3 }+ A9 t+ Z+ Q
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
# A. K& g& F' B5 G) t' S• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential
4 g; E6 |6 D9 s/ h! J4 M( s* K/ I, r• Not scared of heights
9 M4 V7 g' D1 q4 s* l• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other
# E7 @) `2 ], ?, j: U& l' c+ q• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
