Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant* `6 F; v5 z7 `

Major Responsibilities: ; Z9 f. v. J* g- r& f
• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.$ ?& ~7 B V! a0 g
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
R/ b7 }) M7 [3 s$ M8 C• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. 3 Y2 i; V) U- ~! A/ u: K* X
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office. ^# h# e6 o2 \5 {7 u
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
6 A% ~1 A$ k! p• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
6 H `+ @* i) M X) X• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.3 O9 O6 t. X( d
• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.1 a4 @+ d; W' A; P7 {7 A8 @
• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.' R& ]* U5 ?) F" g w6 C/ e
• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
+ }% Y& @% N2 K* v) ^• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
6 A3 S9 N+ ^- k4 J5 A9 a R• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.7 A& b1 C( w7 I9 L
• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

) H$ A2 h6 S/ K% V! P& B• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
: Z- D6 A4 c* v9 q, g• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
! a0 N8 ~) m- \9 ] V: x! \+ T7 B- O• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
- n" r5 X% u5 N- e( l4 a. c• Mechanical/electrical aptitude. 9 B, o" D8 r# u9 r. o7 e
• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential9 C, J" d% i+ s- F! g" J9 k8 A
• Not scared of heights, P, J; k4 c, O3 T9 @8 o+ \
• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other; b5 j7 p* `# T+ |, H) x$ o3 P
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. ' A! W% i7 m9 l7 y
• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process.
