Major Responsibilities:
4 B# v) ]3 y: T3 ]; r1 x- ?•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
9 p1 z  G  B& I3 R8 W1 B" T4 Z* L. d•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.* ~$ h8 Y: s& \9 j
•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  
5 Y. u0 [* J0 a! A7 M% c: k) a; Q8 \•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.
% j: n: V: p; M% J) a•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.1 L) j9 f& U6 @9 B
•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
) s( D- G7 C3 O/ Y0 l' s) C- o•        Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.9 ^0 ^* X3 \# |, D
•        Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.& q0 H& o  G; L; j7 E1 A
•        Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.

9 z4 `# b, N" O) h•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.  ?" q  _( |* {0 T2 }2 K
•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.

" y+ x5 K* `9 D( k/ O•        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. 3 k; X6 j* p. M! _( ~8 p5 v
•        Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. 5 e8 V' n( r& b! i
•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. * {% r6 L! C  b8 P/ h) n  A0 ?% f8 Q
•        Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
( ]: _1 y2 R4 n# q•        Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential
