    * Develops,coordinates, and facilitates the Institute for Sexual Minority Studies and Services (iSMSS), Camp fYrefly sexual minority youth outreach program
3 l" u+ n, n5 Q  T& f% H$ `' J    * Coordinates Camp fYrefly's year-round educational programming, peer leadership training,and youth mentoring activities
    * Coordinates, develops and oversees the camp application, recruitment, and selection processes
6 g4 G: A2 a: R" X" ^    * Recruits, trains, and supervises volunteers who support the delivery of Camp fYrefly's annual summer youth leadership retreat
    * Develops and solicits appropriate workshop and educational programming in consultation with a youth advisory committee and community stakeholders
/ A5 O! N+ ], S+ b- t: u, B    * Liaises with the Assistant Director to set appropriate work priorities, action plans,and volunteer and program resource requirements
    * Works with the Assistant Director to plan, deliver and evaluate fundraising activities and donor recognition programs
    * Provides a year-end activities report and program evaluation to the Assistant Director
+ ^  G( \6 ~( K; z, S! O    * Serves as a resource person and liaises with the Assistant Director in budget planning
    * Develops high quality promotional and educational materials
: d2 {- [( S6 l5 x0 c" z    * Develops and maintains relationships with local and national press and other relevant media
( i3 [$ h( @- \; A$ f  W    * Creates and delivers community-based presentations on camp-related research and evaluation results
) y& K) v6 v/ D    * Provides support and advice on emerging LGBTTQ youth needs and trends to Institute personnel and partner agencies

5 e* a% N% R8 J
    * Post Secondary diploma in a related discipline such as education, human services, community development or social sciences; Bachelor's degree in education, social work, psychology, or a related professional discipline preferred
& V" ^( t$ k8 Z9 Z! {$ [    * Three to five years background experience in youth programming and/or community development with a particular emphasis on sexual minority youth
    * Experience working with Aboriginal and ethnocultural communities an asset
! O4 i' e; Z- G( P1 R    * Knowledge of violence and bullying prevention, harm reduction, and youth advocacy strategies
    * Demonstrated experience in the development of youth educational programming, community outreach, and conflict resolution skills
) f( ~& B" M( x) Q( U; G    * Knowledge and experience in fund development, volunteer management, proposal writing, and special event planning
5 {0 y$ I# U( C# X( O' i. q    * Demonstrated skills in program/donor communication, development of information, education and communication material (including web-based documentation)
    * Excellent communication (oral and written) and analytical skills
