Driver killed in early morning Edmonton crash

EDMONTON - One man is dead and another is in hospital after a pickup truck rolled in northeast Edmonton this morning.
* w) S: [) V7 m/ ]2 q+ p) XPolice said they attempted to stop a truck after it stunted, spinning its tires in front of a cruiser, at 139th Avenue and Victoria Trail shortly before 2 a.m.
" W5 J6 @* ~2 d5 y( _# s6 ZOfficers lost sight of the truck, but caught up to it about a minute later. It had hit a curb and rolled at 139th Avenue and 23rd Street. The driver was ejected and was killed.7 u+ |1 P. G* [' _+ @0 J
The male passenger suffered serious but not life-threatening injuries. Speed and alcohol are being blamed for the crash.
