/ A3 ~- m9 S" q' W. T5 WEDMONTON - A 64-year-old Marwayne-area woman was killed in a head-on collision north of Lloydminster on Saturday afternoon.

RCMP say heavy rain made for poor visibility on Highway 17, where the woman's Sunfire connected with a Yaris after crossing the centre line just beyond the city limits.

4 ~4 p3 N+ D8 a3 Y5 g2 U"The Sunfire lost control," Const. Juan Huss said.

RCMP are continuing to investigate and have yet to release the name of the deceased.
