DESCRIPTION:

- z" ^* }8 o; r: k9 xGrandin out of School Care and Daycare is registered as a non-profit corporation.  Grandin has both a Daycare and Out of School Care in a shared building facility located at Grandin School.  September 1, 2008 we will become an After School Care Program exclusively.  

7 E9 _" r- Q7 {The Grandin Out of School Care Board of Directors is inviting applications for the temporary position of child care worker to start as soon as possible.  This is a full time summer temporary position with the possibility of progressing into a permanent position.  This position involves working directly with the care, programming, implementation of programming of school age children on site and on field trips off site.

        Commitment to the ideals expressed in the Grandin Daycare mission statement and a desire to work together with sponsoring bodies:  Catholic School Board, Grandin Administration, Grandin OSC Board of Directors, Staff and Parents.
0 H4 m5 ]& b$ ?; L        Level 1, 2 or 3 childcare certification or equivalent education
        Experience working with school age children
; j+ f/ Z  c  J3 r        Responsible, ethical, good communication skills with parents and staff

RESPONSIBILITIES:

/ F' s+ ^+ ~1 Z3 g( }         Supervision of school age children in a summer Out of school care program in accordance with the city of Edmonton and province of Alberta licensing regulations and standards
