Interior Designer

1. Consults with Sales Team in the layout, design and space planning of

2. Performs programming, space planning, furniture selection, layout, casework,5 n" b T4 e# E* ^7 g
product pricing, design and selection of fabrics and finishes, includes as-built% V4 b; q/ g* e9 Z+ w
drawings, block plans, space plans and finished working drawings for3 w0 K/ u9 M, v: b- O2 [
specification and installation.
2 H/ a# E4 R7 X% l+ E3. Provides professional customer interface by attending client planning& R+ E; h& g1 R9 ^$ `/ r
meetings to determine furniture needs and develops solutions to meet these6 r* L: |9 G0 j/ W% l9 v
needs.
1 x: z1 F0 r5 `: Z4. Offers technical design and creative consultation to customers by answering
! |! G ]/ ~8 F5 A/ a6 {$ J1 o8 b) Iroutine and highly specialized questions regarding furniture systems.
# f5 k/ ~2 U1 j$ Z' M9 Z& Y0 x: `5. Coordinates, develops, and reviews proposed project designs and construction- t4 |2 [, t; b+ e; x0 u
plans. Prepares presentation material including color finish boards. Reviews job! r) B7 Q& O# l. h* v
site in order to perform accurate measurements. Will do plan-to-site adherence$ ~9 w; C H9 e4 ~+ \# Y
checks.

3 k3 P J" u! y& Design (A&D) drawing sets.
: l* Z. p" T1 u& t; a7. Develops project specifications, double checks specifications against plans,
7 E' P1 p Y2 J( {9 D4 J4 |assures specifications are ready for order entry (SIF file), and manages changes

8 K7 ^1 I+ q- k" B8. Verifies the company design standards have been met. Provides on-site job
8 f; y' \* w; W9 o0 W$ @2 S7 j% o. v& vinspections comparing construction drawings to final build-out.
7 q8 Q/ a+ u* b" F9. Tracks, records and ties design hours to specific projects for job costing.- I: i- Y+ K4 m4 N" f: H
10. Works with installers to ensure installation meets customer specifications.- P) ]6 E! Q8 a$ Q
11. Participates in work-in-progress (WIP) and open order backlog review) t- U! k# @& v! N; G6 b! H9 `* h1 [
meetings with the furniture management team.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design with a minimum of two (2) years in a, \% e9 l" E, Y) C) x4 M
related field; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and
' K0 ?+ g+ c2 f: E0 [6 I q: Z8 ?: nexperience required. Prior experience in office furniture industry, general4 T9 v( s! C/ Y& X
knowledge of systems furniture, and experience in customer interaction required.
