2 F' D2 `2 \- d# i! V: K* pWhen we were called the Sick Man of Asia, we were the Yellow Peril.
3 L8 T9 R: Q% t6 qWhen we are billed to be the next Superpower, we are a threat.

" [3 D- Z9 x# X9 h  ?When we closed our doors, you smuggled drugs to our markets.
When we embraced Free Trade, you blame us for taking away your jobs.

* X" X2 c! d: yWhen we were falling apart, you marched in your troops and wanted your “fair share”.
When we were putting the broken pieces together again, “Free Tibet” you scream, “it was an invasion!”

$ {& j( i8 d9 M3 m7 t$ WSo, we tried communism, you hated us for being communists
' z+ `; y$ X/ i# eWhen we embraced capitalism, you hate us for being capitalists.

6 {9 f; N! g; W, R5 [0 u/ OWhen we have a billion people, you said we were destroying the planet.
; [0 O5 V5 ^8 T) t# UWhen we tried limiting our numbers, you said it is human rights abuse.

- V8 r3 K- F  IWhen we were poor, you thought we were dogs.
When we loan you cash, you blame us for your debts.

9 Z/ F# D  O2 A' m% D+ NWhen we build our industries, you called us polluters.
8 Q9 R5 U( F  X# I# R) Q3 E! m% j+ P* N7 LWhen we sell you goods, you blame us for global warming.

1 W( t0 ~7 d( a3 f$ s! iWhen we buy oil, you call that exploitation and genocide.
When you fight for oil, you call that liberation and democracy.
. e' p: g7 f3 N# Y% c; L6 }$ v5 P
% O' P1 K; w' ^3 G+ W: bWhen we were lost in chaos and rampage, you wanted rule of law for us.
When we uphold law and order against violence, you call that violating human rights.

When we were silent, you said you want us to have free speech.
$ L3 U0 P, M6 ?7 R+ FWhen we were silent no more, you say we are brainwashed racists.
+ Q2 f4 ~: l4 l; j: o/ L) W
, V; H  E/ k% L& `% ?+ gWhy do you hate us so much? We asked.
) y" s# j: a5 @9 B% S“No,” you answered, “We don’t hate You.”

) S" Z) E  V( _) k( f# wWe don’t hate you either,
But do you understand us?

What do you really want from us?

Because you only get so many chances,
1 T# B, |3 j# E# W2 z- ?, ]/ `Enough is enough, enough Hypocrisy for this one world.

* W* j% N; S9 \$ y) x1 l* R$ FWe want one world, one dream, and peace on Earth.
# s- ]. m  C4 t6 l( w: V* ]$ O- iThis big blue Earth is big enough for all of Us.
