Duties
Works within the Network Team to plan, implement, and maintain network services for the University Libraries, supporting the computing requirements of approximately 300 library staff and a wide range of electronic services offered to library clientele
: P4 Z5 Q! u+ z- `5 GResponsible for specialization in workstation image management
1 m* i1 P: g, YResponsible for system administration of assigned Windows 2000 servers
Provides help desk and on-call (after hours) support
; q) a+ `6 Q- q" W& C; v7 }. {0 dWorks within the Web Team to implement and support web-based applications to provide access to library resources and services and web-based productivity applications for staff
Edits and troubleshoots web content using Content Management System
: m+ T" V0 i- f% s% DDevelops programming using Cold Fusion and PHP
Develops user interfaces using HTML, JavaScript and CSS
Designs, develops and implements MySQL relational databases

. C) ?' U6 w# I( w  o* J+ O) {& CTwo year post-secondary diploma in a technology support program
Recent completion of Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer
. x. b! |( o4 NMinimum three years experience working in a technology support group for a large corporate network with hands-on experience managing Windows 2000 servers and client workstations
Experience implementing and supporting interactive web-based applications using web programming languages and middleware applications (including Cold Fusion, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS and MySQL)
- _; P2 y/ t; S* EStrong analytical, diagnostic, written and oral communication skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment and under pressure
