Works within the Network Team to plan, implement, and maintain network services for the University Libraries, supporting the computing requirements of approximately 300 library staff and a wide range of electronic services offered to library clientele B' T7 D4 w" I) U* s! N
Responsible for specialization in workstation image management& U: T! X1 \4 L( M, G3 I2 w# D
Responsible for system administration of assigned Windows 2000 servers
3 Q8 C! ~8 z- d7 uProvides help desk and on-call (after hours) support
; r0 Z' [; o5 LWorks within the Web Team to implement and support web-based applications to provide access to library resources and services and web-based productivity applications for staff% T& |2 @5 p' X( H$ v' @
Edits and troubleshoots web content using Content Management System: K( d7 b. k- c7 T8 k G7 p% S4 o6 v- }
Develops programming using Cold Fusion and PHP. |2 E. a. z: Q" y- S" ]6 C
Develops user interfaces using HTML, JavaScript and CSS

Qualifications' y- R) m/ w; V4 g4 Y" v: U
Two year post-secondary diploma in a technology support program
) C7 J7 k. M& G. m' C# hRecent completion of Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer# Q: q7 a! F6 k1 M: h
Minimum three years experience working in a technology support group for a large corporate network with hands-on experience managing Windows 2000 servers and client workstations/ \- B6 L5 g" W& P$ `$ m9 z
Experience implementing and supporting interactive web-based applications using web programming languages and middleware applications (including Cold Fusion, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS and MySQL)/ j# e" g" N2 J6 Y8 ]* r6 b
Strong analytical, diagnostic, written and oral communication skills2 p* H; z% p' U: ?6 ]- K
