Are you an immigrant woman who:
5 s4 V* }+ X  A! d( ~4 M2 L; _: v
& \* Z  ^3 u9 D* h) Y8 S0 @-  arrived in Canada less than three years ago?
-  has taken an English language assessment test?
-  scored at least a Level 3 of the Canadian Language Benchmarks (LINC)?

7 A- u  V4 z$ l' z* R, dIf the answers are yes, then you are invited to apply to attend our pre-employment program

9 P; D. ^& u% GMAKING CHANGES PROGRAM is a pre-employment, life skill orientation program with an English component.  It is a two week program requiring four days a week or once a week for eight weeks for a total of 48 hours.

THE COURSE OFFERS:

Counseling to help you find what is right for you.
Opportunity to develop your English Language skills.
5 c* [7 Z6 r5 G: c$ h2 H& e1 jOpportunities in class to practice difficult situations, e.g. a job interview or proper telephone etiquette.
5 H/ }# d( n( r" b: L  j9 M* jInformation about community agencies and services.
Information about going back to school, returning to work, or changing your job.
* g4 d! o% d" O* F3 Q  ]Continued support after the course to help you carry out your plan.
