-  arrived in Canada less than three years ago?
-  has taken an English language assessment test?
6 q" F; z* W6 S% ~  W7 G-  scored at least a Level 3 of the Canadian Language Benchmarks (LINC)?

! T: c$ t: i: q2 }# XIf the answers are yes, then you are invited to apply to attend our pre-employment program

MAKING CHANGES PROGRAM is a pre-employment, life skill orientation program with an English component.  It is a two week program requiring four days a week or once a week for eight weeks for a total of 48 hours.

THE COURSE OFFERS:

Counseling to help you find what is right for you.
! M( y+ W6 Q9 G/ v7 T- K( e2 AOpportunity to develop your English Language skills.
, P0 Y  ~1 ?: P5 l' W  [* ZOpportunities in class to practice difficult situations, e.g. a job interview or proper telephone etiquette.
8 d" o2 M# ^$ v8 a7 f0 m( p) iInformation about community agencies and services.
8 W+ Q1 O/ {* v4 V5 A' e" HInformation about going back to school, returning to work, or changing your job.
Continued support after the course to help you carry out your plan.
