ATGCell Inc., a spin-off biotech company (http://www.atgcell.com) of the
University of Alberta, is focusing on the production and service of
recombinant proteins and stable cell lines. To further develop our
technology, we are currently seeking a highly-motivated researcher with
& W$ \6 U- b- ~4 T- W& c& _+ cstrong track record in molecular and/or cellular biology and willingness

Qualified candidates should have a PhD or MS degree within 5 years or will
obtain one within 2-3 months, in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry or a
" i+ n0 Y5 b% u, T$ C. \9 l3 xrelated field. Extensive experience in protein expression and purification
from bacterial or eukaryotic sources, and/or in mammalian cell culture, is
required. Familiarity with recombinant DNA techniques, including PCR, DNA
5 r* M3 z: g; ?# z7 N1 @cloning and mutagenesis is also required. Prior experience in protein
over-expression in insect cells/yeast, or large-scale protein purification
8 X- K! J/ P1 Lis a good plus. The position requires excellent organizational skills with
# h: V9 p; d5 W/ y/ N0 M$ Athe ability to work independently and multi-tasked along with keeping
accurate and complete research records.

funding, such as the Alberta Ingenuity Fund R&D Associate. Anticipated
$ s3 k! Q! Y: L& _1 E! p4 Nsalary for the successful candidate will be 55-60K/yr depending on
