烤蛋糕

• 1/2 cup butter ! c" H5 Y/ d. h: g8 q
• 1 cup sugar
) ^! K5 i1 u. }( ~7 j2 i4 o• 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (if you like the flavor, otherwise, none)% Q* F& [' W0 M
• 1 1/2 cups sifted flour or all purpose flour (former is better)9 J6 r v! A' z- C: p. o7 ] F
• 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder

PREPARATION:5 W$ j {9 q, E
Beat butter; gradually add sugar, beating until light and fluffy. Beat in vanilla. Sift together the dry ingredients; add to cream mixture alternately with beaten eggs, beating well after each addition. 8 z+ L, v' r0 a/ r; J
Turn into greased and floured 8-inch tube pan or 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan. P3 k- r" l3 e& x
Bake in a preheated 350° oven for 45 to 50 minutes. Cool for 5 minutes in the pan then turn out onto a cake rack. Cool and glaze or frost as desired. Store tightly covered.! Z, ~( ?4 p- B: B3 G0 J2 {. Z* F

这是yellow cake,我最喜欢的,又简单。ingredients 我一般比较严格执行,否则变味,但是我通常要把糖的用量减至3/4到2/3,洋人用糖量太大,太甜了。但如果你认为cake mix的甜度适合你的口味,就用上述的量。
