Community Services requires individuals to provide quality customer service to the public at community leisure centres across the City. As a Recreation Facility Attendant you will:

Collect fee and admission charges.0 K+ b& W/ y# X: c

Complete daily cash deposits.

Handle customer inquires by phone and in person.

Control admission to various areas of the facility.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Completion of the twelfth (12th) school grade with emphasis on general office practice or completion of an appropriate certificate program from an approved school/college.

Some experience in customer service, cash handling, and computer applications.* u8 f5 ~, N+ W. L! G! R% Z

Possession of current Standard First Aid and CPR certification is required prior to commencement of employment.

Assets: Customer service training and familiarity with a variety of computer software programs, including point of sale, registration software and other facility related computerized equipment. In addition, knowledge and experience in the fitness industry.' w1 s3 |" F. p& P+ \2 q0 r# N3 P9 L
Note: A security clearance is a condition of employment. The successful candidate will be required to obtain a Security Clearance letter from the Edmonton Police Department.   I. f6 v% s' q* N/ W

HOURS OF WORK:  c; K! s9 @; U& B5 x
Up to 30 hours per week, Sunday to Saturday. Early morning, evening and weekends may be required.' d8 v4 a9 Q; F+ i
Shifts vary based on facility operating hours,
5:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.

& W$ p. p& i  ^7 j/ m8 J21B, Salary Grade: 003, $14.55 - $17.97 (Hourly). The rates quoted are in accordance with a collective agreement between the Union and the City of Edmonton.* ^# n2 ]6 c  g3 [; U& P( v' k0 z3 L5 ^
