Programs/Services

• design, develop and monitor client-centred programs and activities
) Y$ I/ W' |$ s" S; ?4 @, U: h• prepare, complete and submit all program proposals including budgets and reports to the funders and key stakeholders- M% Y# a2 G- [% r- s3 v9 w
• set program priorities and directions * j: `) [4 Z" l/ \: |# F
• identify community and user needs and trends+ R/ S' b) D1 B I% z8 \( ~
• implement and monitor programs and community activities to meet identified needs and trends

• coordinate and monitor significant programs through liaison/partnership with other community groups6 E' B. F+ s$ E. r2 u) \
• advocate, educate, promote cross-cultural respect & understanding of immigrants, visible minorities & other at risk or multi-risks groups
# {6 d2 O) n6 D1 h* y2 A! W• work with community and social agencies/groups to raise awareness of systemic issues affecting people from a broad socio-economic spectrum to social policy makers and to lobby for social changes in society, legislation and systems.

) u; A) C9 r! K* L9 N- c. I- University degree in a related field; 7 J3 }% z2 Y( k) v7 \) {4 P
- Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit / voluntary organization;
9 [4 }3 F h5 c5 \/ X; C( y- Knowledge of human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;
& q4 h- [) Q: b3 }, K- 2 or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization
) [3 y' _ w2 ~- J" Q1 _
; Y7 O4 ^& T* `9 y- K) ESalary' [3 O2 h( `2 e% ~+ X! j
- $50,000 - $55,000 + benefits
