• prepare, complete and submit all program proposals including budgets and reports to the funders and key stakeholders

• ensure programs serve to enhance the coping capacities and well-being of people by removing inhumane systems or barriers and to empower people to work on positive changes in themselves and in others

• communicate the value of the organization to the public

• advocate, educate, promote cross-cultural respect & understanding of immigrants, visible minorities & other at risk or multi-risks groups
" ?8 t# p6 m3 G" f$ v8 p• work with community and social agencies/groups to raise awareness of systemic issues affecting people from a broad socio-economic spectrum to social policy makers and to lobby for social changes in society, legislation and systems.# Y" g; m$ {' V5 [% F
• Identify funding opportunities and resources that enhance the agency programs/services and staff

2 f" M+ h q+ M+ X- University degree in a related field;
! K, F, I/ ~7 R& w' X* p- J- Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit / voluntary organization;
) }2 i& Z- S' g2 O5 R4 t. O/ ^- Knowledge of human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;
4 P+ [2 F8 i1 R; E9 p- 2 or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization i8 S/ ~$ K0 r" y0 W
