• is fiscally accountable to the Board with all projects and administration of the agency within an approved budget by the Board

• meet with staff on regular basis

• overall management of all agency projects/programs and services

• prepare, complete and submit all program proposals including budgets and reports to the funders and key stakeholders- @, `, ^) S4 b2 M* {: y2 q
• set program priorities and directions

• build on knowledge of community resources in program development

• act as community liaison and cultural broker between the immigrant community and other communities( K1 s2 J; v& t9 [, j a. r) v
• build, maintain strong relationships with all levels of governments, businesses, community groups, public & funders
( f; |$ n0 K& R, y7 `• communicate the value of the organization to the public
" b& H1 C$ {0 p! X! f3 x/ X1 k, u• identify community needs and trends4 S7 q! A* H( o$ I
• coordinate and monitor significant programs through liaison/partnership with other community groups- P% _/ U3 t/ `7 d0 P; n4 O- x! Q
• advocate, educate, promote cross-cultural respect & understanding of immigrants, visible minorities & other at risk or multi-risks groups
! I% ]5 _! u1 K6 k% ]% t• work with community and social agencies/groups to raise awareness of systemic issues affecting people from a broad socio-economic spectrum to social policy makers and to lobby for social changes in society, legislation and systems.

Qualifications
: o/ c: u! u+ f' S! ?1 ]$ z- University degree in a related field;
' Z5 F. r" ^3 A- y" f& [- Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit / voluntary organization;/ t1 w% T5 N2 b% F: o
- Knowledge of human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;
* l+ Q7 a M# J+ y! h3 T# N1 R* L( C- 2 or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization
