JOB SUMMARY:  The Food Service Worker II responsible to the Senior Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant and will assist in all areas for maximum service to patrons.

5 K& y7 ~6 s, Z2 q) h* z$ P DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

5 k  R( U/ K! a" S; l" b* Z1)  Assist with all aspects of food preparation, display food in an attractive & appetizing manner, and clean in the kitchen area.

6 O$ E1 n/ @0 A& @# n/ [2)  Provide excellent customer service to student, staff and public clients, in a professional and friendly manner at all times.
# r$ r4 _2 b8 x) e) `" B  x
3)  Follow proper food handling and storage techniques as per Capital Health standards.

4)  Capable and willing to work in all areas and able to work rotating shifts within the  Students´ Union Food Services operating hours.

8 K# j" {; b% ^& x# }2 I' T5) Serve as cashier when required.

# {( Q. k: W% I' D$ J6) To perform other related duties as directed by the Senior Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant.

QUALIFICATIONS:
4 W3 k) L. F7 b" P3 @  N6 u4 h3 @
1) Minimum one year in the food industry.  Thorough knowledge of safe food handling and storage techniques.

" C0 B; T0 |+ n6 w# I2) Cashier experience.

3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.
& @* r, X  Y, j
; }( V/ Q! R9 K  L4) Excellent customer service skills and staff relations abilities.

5) Completion of Grade XII (Alberta) or equivalent.
