After I settled down in Edmonton, I celebrated Canada Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Halloween and Remembrance Day. All of them arevery interesting to me, but I have to say that the most enjoyable holiday is Halloween.

When I got back home with the candies, my wife told me that there were not enough, so I went to Safeway again and bought more.5 K* U& {- Q2 X' v
My child was shy and didn’t speak much English, so I taught her how to shout “Trick or Treat”. After two days of training, she is perfect at shouting “Trick or Treat” .

In the afternoon, we had a potluck in the class. Yuong Sook, a Korean girl, made some sushi which looked very beautiful. Chun Yuan, a Chinese girl, cooked some bouilli which tasted very delicious. Of course my wife cooked the best food because they were all cleared off all gone.- F9 u; Q/ Y% \* M2 b
After lunch, we had a party in the student center. Many students put make up on their faces and wore some strange clothingcostume. They were singing and dancing there. What a happy day!5 ~- Z" w3 v6 F8 o8 ?6 p0 E, M. {

My child went out with a bag. I stayed at homewith my wife, waiting for neighbours' kids. To my surprise, only three children came to my home, and I was left with many unclaimedcandies. And, one hour later, my child came back with a full bag. “Dad,” She said, “My bag is full. I have many candies now. What an interesting day!”# {2 M0 Q) }. P b- X# l6 q" q3 z
