* `3 E  O: z* H4 @, J3 Qd) 对电路/系统设计或计算机程序设计有浓厚兴趣

7 L) Z+ Q  X+ d9 }$ [Ph.D. or Master's fellowships are available for suitable applicants who are
enthusiastic about research on Very Large Scale Integration (VLSI) systems
5 g4 N( l9 W# j4 M6 Dand circuits at Memorial University of Newfoundland, NL, Canada.
Potential projects are in areas of VLSI computer-aided design and analog/digital
integrated system/circuit design.

8 q9 Q; t  z' m. e- I9 lThe qualified applicants will meet the following conditions:
(a) Master’s or B.S. degree, background in microelectronics, computer engineering, electronics, electrical engineering, computer science, or related areas.
(b) GPA 3.2/4.0 (80% if percentage grades used) or better.
9 l/ S, H( Q- V* a2 F. X/ Y" A4 K(c) TOEFL: paper-based score of 550 (or higher)/computer-based score of 213 (or higher).
(d) A keen interest in algorithm design or circuit/system design.
