1 s# t$ J3 E$ b6 g3 W3 _JOB SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Senior Operations Manager-
# a1 z1 Q Q% ]. P3 m$ LSU Print Centre and Operations Manager-Production & Technical 2 `% S1 I1 v2 h' k
Support, these positions are responsible for assisting in all aspects 2 t% X3 k' B' Q- G" H6 M
of Course Pack production.' `7 w' S/ ]( y$ w% j, U
7 Z9 f& d- h1 X( I
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:5 @8 w% V4 E* j+ J# r* M4 b1 x' v
1) To assist in the creation of course packs, including the scanning & |* ]8 q" _5 M" z3 X2 B$ G+ b
of paper files, editing of digital files, proofing and printing." c. w: ^7 c! Y7 Q1 z. W
6 [6 u! Q2 p% N" z G
2) To develop a good working knowledge of print equipment, including
2 k; R3 u& m# Fprint queue, paper loading, toner and technical troubleshooting.
7 b. r; `! a4 d: K# }. A. R* V0 {5 @) m/ t+ _
3) To assist with all aspects of bindery, packing and shipping of
3 u2 |$ Y: [2 W$ gcourse packs. This includes following operational procedures and
9 @8 _, B0 ^0 x0 m; ckeeping appropriate and accurate records.

5) To develop a working knowledge of Access Copyright requirements,
6 g, }' A8 m: M0 \0 Band adhere to regulations as appropriate.

QUALIFICATIONS:
: O" i$ w5 O: i+ I( {1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.+ N5 Q0 ~4 B3 P9 ~( S
2) Attention to details. Excellent organizational and communication
# E( V9 @: U5 V; P" m$ Y- C0 p6 Tskills.: A, B/ a3 }1 t* E
, V& x( H* ^! C: d, `2 S3) A good working knowledge of Windows would be helpful.

6) Experience in print industry an asset but not necessary.
